  • General Access: R275 (includes access, 1 wine tasting glass & 20 wine tasting vouchers – please note our updated token system below)

  • General Access & Tasting Room Session Bundle: R375 per person (includes a General Access Ticket and your Tasting Room session booking)

  • DOUBLE Ticket & Picnic Bag Combo: R845 (includes TWO General Access tickets and ONE Pick n Pay picnic bag to share, jam-packed with a mouthwatering selection of cheeses, cured meats, spreads, fresh bread and other delicious treats.)

  • SINGLE Ticket & Picnic Bag Combo: R570 (includes ONE General Access tickets and ONE Pick n Pay picnic, jam-packed with a mouthwatering selection of cheeses, cured meats, spreads, fresh bread and other delicious treats.)

  • ADD-ON Picnic Bag: R295 (Picnic Bag ONLY – General Access or Tasting Room Bundle ticket required to gain access to the event.)

  • Designated Driver Ticket: R150 (By special request via info@pnpwineandfoodfestival.co.za – limited number of tickets available. Includes a voucher for soft drinks / coffee. No glass and tasting tokens; no access to alcohol)

In the interest of promoting responsible drinking and to honour the various price points of the wines available, a token system is in place.

While these tokens have no value (and cannot be exchanged for cash), you will “pay” between one and four tokens per tasting, based on the price point of the wine.

  • 1 x token : wine up to R199
  • 2 x tokens : wine valued R200 – R399
  • 4 x tokens : wine valued above R400

Tastings END at 4.30pm. The 50ml tasting portion reaches the tasting line that is clearly printed on your glass. Please do not try to exchange multiple tokens for a full glass of wine.

The Pick n Pay Wine & Food Festival Durban is the place to be this July.

Celebrate South Africa’s wine country, and enjoy award-winning wines, delicious food options and live music at the beautiful Chris Saunders Park in uMhlanga.

The Festival offers visitors the opportunity to sample wines a curated selection of top wine estates. And if you love bubbles, you’re in for a treat with a variety of Cap Classique and sparkling wines for all to enjoy.

We are thrilled to introduce the Pick n Pay Tasting Room sessions to Durban! These sessions always sell out in Cape Town and Johannesburg, and are limited to 30 guests per session ONLY! A Tasting Room session takes you on the ultimate sensory journey with our celebrity chef and the featured producer of your particular session, while you pair your favourite wines with freshly prepared gourmet canapés. Book your Tasting Room session(s) and elevate your Cape winelands experience to a whole new level.

The Pick n Pay Fresh Food Market will serve an assortment of dishes prepared with fresh ingredients such as fish and chips, fresh salads, sushi and indulgent cheese and charcuterie boards. Pick n Pay’s Burger & Pizza Trucks will also serve their popular dishes!

Looking to enjoy the Festival without having to worry about what you’re going to eat? We’ve got you covered. Buy your ticket and add on a picnic bag to share – filled with Pick n Pay’s finest cheeses, cured meats, fresh bread, biltong, hummus and more to enjoy while relaxing on the lawns.

12.30pm – 1pm Pick n Pay Tasting Room Experience – Exclusive to PnP Wine Club Members
Limited to 30 guests only, Pick n Pay Wine Club Members can book a seat to a 30-minute wine and food pairing experience.
Until 4.30pm General Pouring / Tasting – ENDS at 4.30pm

1.30pm – 3.30pm Pick n Pay Tasting Room Experience
Book your seat in one of our popular tasting room sessions, and enjoy a sensory experience like no other. Your 30-minute tasting journey will be skillfully guided by celebrity chef Tjaart Walraven and the winemaker of the estate in your session – pairing three top-class wines with freshly prepared canapés. You may book multiple tasting room experiences as an add-on to your General Access ticket.
Until 5pm Wine Sales from Central Wine Shop
Buy a bottle of your favourite wine to share with friends while enjoying live music. For on-site consumption ONLY.
Until 5pm Food Sales
Want to take a break from tasting? Fuel up with a wide array of quick snacks and affordable meals – from curries, burgers, pizzas, salads, and fish & chips, to oysters and sushi – while soaking up the live music vibe. While wine and food sales close at 5pm, you can still sit back, relax, and enjoy your food and wine until the event closes at 5.30pm.
